Vana nava shades

Hua Hin - Thailand
Sang Thong Co., Ltd
240 m²

Sioen provided the membranes for the Vana Nava shopping mall, close to the famous Hua Hin's water theme park, where you can also find our membranes. The lacquering has been specially engineered for long lasting performances. The membranes for this particular project had to be fit for digital printing customisation and withstand harsh weather conditions.

The manufacturer of the sunshades of the Vana Nava shopping mall, Sang Thong Canvas Awning is one of the affiliated companies within Sang Thong Canvas Group and is specialized in the production of awning, canvas, tent, and canvas related product for sun and rain protection. The company has been in business for over 50 years and is the leader in production and installation of tension membrane, retractable canvas roof (skylight, pergola), folding arms awning, drop arms awning, vertical awning, European canopy, warehouse tent, car park roof, and many more.

For the structure at Vana Nava shopping mall, the manufacturer chose the T2108 (now known as the T2117F) Sioen membrane. Our company has more than 110 years of accumulated textile experience, with a dedicated range for tensioned architectural membranes. The T2117F PVDF coating top layer ensures the brilliance and the luster expected from these kinds of creative structures. The flexibility and lightness of the membrane allows architects to go beyond boundaries to create iconic structures.

The Sioen membrane was carefully selected for this particular project from the Sioen Fluomax range.

Sioen tensile architecture membranes are low wick, anti-bacteria treated and flame retardant — which is not a given on the market! — and are built from high tenacity technical yarns. We have decided upon this, in order to give you the best quality product for your tensile architecture project.

Since its discovery, Hua Hin has had a storied past. Originally just a small fishing village known for its splendid white sands and a row of rocks that jutted out along the beach, giving the village its name, Hua Hin (“head of rock”), its gentle beauty eventually reached the ear of the royal court. Find the Vana Nava shopping Mall on facebook and on its dedicated website for more pictures.
